OUR TAKE / EDITORIAL OPINION
Assymetrix should be judged by its exceptions
A common schema earns its place when it preserves the differences that matter.
Assymetrix documents normalized market data from Polymarket, Kalshi and Limitless, plus AI-enriched category and resolution-source metadata. Its pricing page labels WebSockets as coming soon. Our view is that the useful promise here is reduced translation work. The AI label deserves a much smaller role in the buying decision: classifying a question is a different job from predicting its answer. A team should value the resulting organization only if it can inspect and correct it.
We would shortlist Assymetrix for a developer building a research dashboard across those venues. The central tradeoff is convenience versus fidelity. A tidy category can make unlike contracts look more comparable than the developer intended. Our preferred interface would keep the original venue identifiers and resolution language close enough that a researcher can challenge a match without reconstructing the entire ingestion process.
For evaluation, choose several deceptively similar markets with different deadlines or settlement wording. Ask whether the API preserves those distinctions and whether a mistaken category can be traced back to its source. Test the currently documented REST workflow against the actual refresh needs of the application. A future streaming feature should receive no credit in that decision. We would pay for dependable normalization before paying for a more impressive metadata label.

What is documented about AI?
The documentation describes AI-enriched category, subcategory and resolution-source metadata. This is a metadata feature, not a stated probability forecast; its quality was not evaluated.
“No AI documented” means the checked sources do not establish an AI feature. It does not prove that the product uses no AI.
