OUR TAKE / EDITORIAL OPINION

An API migration should preserve the behavior you depend on

Synpath deserves a migration test built around a team’s actual workflow.

Synpath documents unified prediction-market data, search, live streams and venue order workflows, with optional self-hosted execution and guidance for migration from pmxt. Our view is that a migration should begin with a written account of the behavior an application depends on. A more convenient interface is useful only if the team can explain what changes underneath it and why those changes fit the intended workflow.

We would consider it for a development team that can name the workflow it needs to build or move. The tradeoff is a unified layer and a different operational arrangement versus the effort required to verify behavior at every dependency boundary. Optional self-hosted execution deserves a separate review of responsibility, credentials and failure handling rather than being treated as a minor deployment preference.

For evaluation, select one existing workflow and document the exact inputs, outputs and error cases that must remain meaningful after migration. Compare those expectations against Synpath’s current venue-specific documentation, then run a non-production compatibility exercise before changing an application. We have not tested the toolkit or a migration. Our criterion is whether the proposed move solves a concrete engineering problem while preserving understandable behavior; switching abstractions is worthwhile only when the new boundary is clearer for the team maintaining it.

What is documented about AI?

The reviewed documentation describes data and execution infrastructure; it does not establish a built-in AI feature.

“No AI documented” means the checked sources do not establish an AI feature. It does not prove that the product uses no AI.

Pricing & access

Pricing Not Yet Verified

Pricing was not established. Persistent execution strategies require a self-hosted server and exchange credentials; venue fees and hosting costs are separate.
