OUR TAKE / EDITORIAL OPINION
Gravity Terminal should justify every widget
A modular workspace is strongest when it supports subtraction.
Gravity Terminal describes a modular Kalshi and Polymarket workspace with research, news, whale views, alerts, portfolio analytics and trading widgets. The source review could not load the product demos or live feeds, so current operation remains unconfirmed. Our view is that the modular idea is worth assessing through restraint. A user should be able to remove a view without losing the thread of a decision, and explain why each remaining component earns attention. We would not regard an unusually busy screen as evidence of a more informed process.
We would consider Gravity for someone whose research genuinely crosses several information types and venues. The tradeoff is keeping context together versus allowing unrelated activity to compete for attention. We would want market identity and timing to remain obvious when moving between news, position information and any order-related component.
An evaluation should design a minimal workspace for one specific question and one specific review routine. Ask a second person to reconstruct what the user was investigating from the visible context. Then introduce a news item about a related but different market and see whether the distinction remains clear. Our deciding criterion would be whether the modular layout makes context less fragile; additional panels should count as a benefit only when they solve a demonstrated information gap.
